Twelfth Night: A Farewell Celebration

Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
Chapel of Saint Michael the Archangel

This joyful presentation brings to close the traditional celebration of Christmas in a unique collaboration of artistry. The Twelve Days of Christmas will be revisited through choral favorites by Benjamin Britten, Roland Hayes, John Rutter, Zoltan Kodály, Adolphe Adam, traditional carols, dance, and poetic readings. Tickets are not sold. Donations are accepted at the concert to support guest artistry and program production.

Twelfth Night symbolizes the visitation of the Magi to Bethlehem bringing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The Choir has presented Twelfth Night as a gift to the community each year since 1987 and it has remained a beloved tradition of the choir from its inception. This year will be the final production of the Twelfth Night Celebration.
